2000- Birth Of A Mayfly

after a (too) long time without doing any music i started a new electronic music project in 1999 and called it cymotec cyclone.

i uploaded my first five tracks to the music portal mp3.com and before the staff deleted the category all of them managed to stay in the top five of the ebm charts for weeks. the original version of fluch even became a so called featured track.

LoFi- HiFi- Shitpee

the first three tracks were recorded using cakewalk and my old fostex 260 multitracker. the high-tech age began with schwarzer mond, blutrot which was the first track mixed on the yamaho 01v. not that you can hear much difference though. :)

The Name

a year later i found out that cymotec is actually some kind of pesticide which made me regret that i dropped the suffix cyclone later which was a proposal by inception records i accepted.

The Music

hunt the wumpus is a textbased hunt-and-seek computergame from 1972. i played it about ten years later on an apple ][+ which was my first computer.

gnade der spaeten geburt

yet another track with shitler speech samples the world doesn't need. however as an anti- fascist i knew i had to make a musical statement some day. as a german i'm not responsible for what happened during the third reich but like everyone on earth i'm responsible such atrocities will never happen again.

sex sells

the title of the track says it all. to be honest this track was just an excuse for me to download some porn flics off the net. like shitler sells another stupid poseur track. ;)

if you listen to this track closely you might notice that it has a predecessor and a successor track on this compilation, too.

my plan was to do a poppy track with horrible shitty goth- alike lyrics. i think i was successful.

this track has nothing to do with the :w: song of the same name. i still can't believe that the whole track was completely done in four(!) hours.
