Preamble (October 2006)

this website is about the electro/ industrial/ ebm project cymotec formerly known as cymotec cyclone. this band existed only for a short timeperiod from 2000- 2002 and then vanished into thin air. during this short period the band released a couple of tracks on several compilations and a full- time album was planned to be released on the canadian label inception records. on this website you find not only some bits of information about the project but also a lot of free music to download.

i decided to put up a new website for this long dead project because after all the years people still seem to be interested in the music. i get hits for keywords like cymotec and cymotec cyclone from search engines all the time and once in a while people even send me emails or messages on myspace asking about what happened to cymotec. so here is the answer. and here is the music. maybe some of you might enjoy it.

The Aftermath

after flushing cymotec down the toilet i joined the danish noisebmstupidevildustrial band arzt+pfusch for which i'm writing lyrics and lilting vocals now. visit the band's myspace and give it a listen.

though i have always a lot of different stuff for various own projects in the works the biggest chance that something is going to be ever finished and released will be probably for my coldwave project named anarchstate. if you enjoy bands like die krupps or pouppee fabrikk you should check this out definitely.

together with two other guys we founded a label called distorted monkeys productions where we are going to release some of our own material and other oldschool electro industrial artists.
